I am a composer and guitarist based in London, UK.

My recent music is distilled: plainly-spoken materials arranged by simple sequences and processes. In writing, much of my work investigates notation by way of philosophies of reading, writing, disappearance and affect.

I currently teach at Goldsmiths and City St. George’s, Universities of London, and I taught previously at the University of Leeds; I also work supporting the National Open Youth Orchestra with Open Up Music. Alongside these engagements I am (rapidly!) approaching completion of a Practice-led PhD at Leeds​, and I freelance as a tutor and sound engineer (live and studio) with flexible, pay-what-you-can rates.

General composing, playing, and research interests include: repetition; being together and playing together; clowning; plain speaking; études; writing and reading; difference; gesture; uncertainty; imprints; circumscription.
