I am a composer and guitarist based in London, UK. My recent music investigates simple materials, simpler processes, and the affordances of notation. More generally my music also tends to be quiet and slow to change (but not always).
General composing, playing, and research interests include: repetition; being together and playing together; clowning; études; writing and reading; difference; gesture; uncertainty.
I currently teach at Goldsmiths, University of London and City St. George’s, University of London, and work also for Open Up Music and the National Open Youth Orchestra. Alongside this work I am (rapidly!) approaching completion of a Practice-led PhD at the University of Leeds, and I teach privately with flexible, pay-what-you-can rates.
